Covid-19 Testing information:

Free at-home rapid test kit options:

  • Anyone can order free at-⁠home COVID-⁠19 tests from the federal government. You can get 4 mailed to your home. Go to: https://www.covidtests.gov/

  • At-⁠home COVID-⁠19 tests are free with health insurance. You can get up to 8 at-home tests per month per person. For example, a family of 3 can get 24 kits per month paid for by their health insurance. Call your insurance company and ask how to get them.

  • Get free at-⁠home COVID-⁠19 tests mailed to your home from the State of Wisconsin. You will have to do a virtual Zoom call with a licensed health care professional and then take the kit to a UPS drop off. Go to: www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/covid-19/collection.htm

Covid-19 Vaccine Information:

Important details about the vaccine:

  • Any immigration status can get COVID-19 services. It won’t hurt your immigration status.

  • You don’t have to show an ID or Social Security Number to get a test or vaccine.

  • You don’t need health insurance. The federal HRSA program will pay for it.

  • If you don’t have health insurance and get billed for COVID-19 services, ask the billing department to bill the HRSA Covid-19 Uninsured Program.

  • If you already paid for COVID-19 services, you may be able to get a refund. Go to: tips.hhs.gov to file a complaint.

You may be able to get a free ride or childcare for your appointment. Someone may be able to come to you if you are homebound.
