Support Our Work

Now double your impact!

You may be eligible to double your generous support to Covering Wisconsin's Coverage Campaign. Contributions to Covering Wisconsin through this campaign are eligible for match through federal Medicaid funds, administered by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

This is a 1:1 match and so doubles your impact and our ability to raise health coverage awareness and access in Wisconsin.

To be eligible:

  • Dollars used to provide your contribution cannot originate from federal funds.

  • All checks must arrive at DHS no later than September 14, 2026. Please allow at least 4 weeks for delivery.

Why Contribute?

The return on this contribution is clear: adding 1,000 additional enrolled consumers to subsidized ACA Marketplace coverage yields an estimated $6.8 million in annual federal subsidy support to our state – a greater than 10:1 return on each dollar contributed. Savings to providers from reductions in uncompensated care further multiply this return on investment.

  • reduces uncompensated health care

  • promotes access to needed health care

  • encourages care at the right time, in the right setting

  • supports use of preventive services

Health insurance outreach and enrollment yields substantial benefits to Wisconsin residents, to health care providers and payers, and to the state economy. Covering Wisconsin’s assistance with enrollment in and retention of Medicaid and the Marketplace coverage:

  • allows for appropriate management of chronic conditions

  • supports consumers with inappropriate or unauthorized enrollments and scams

  • reduces household financial stress
